Teams naturally focus on tactics, yet an incorrect identity, missed check-in or unsupported device can remove that preparation from the bracket. A short administrative routine should therefore sit beside practice, with one person responsible for confirming each event record.
Do not submit a roster nobody has reviewed
Verify player identities, roles, substitutes and the exact event division. Ask each player to confirm the roster from their own account. A captain may copy an old game ID or include someone who no longer satisfies region or availability conditions.
Record registration close, roster lock and check-in separately. Teams often remember match start and overlook the earlier action that actually confirms attendance.

Avoid last-minute changes that have never been tested
Do not install a new optimiser, change controls or update the operating system immediately before check-in unless the event requires it. Use the tested app build, network and graphics profile. Confirm recording and voice functions without covering controls.
Join early enough to notice a lobby or account mismatch. If a problem appears, capture the message before repeated restarts remove the original state.
A complaint without a match reference is difficult to act on
Save the match ID, round, time and permitted recording. Keep original evidence. Public accusations or edited clips can make a factual incident harder to review and may create a separate conduct problem.
Use one support case and follow the event’s dispute window. After resolution, convert the mistake into a checklist item rather than relying on one person to remember it indefinitely.
