MAKE THE FIRST MESSAGE ACTIONABLE

Support Needs the Record That Connects the Problem to the Event

The right reference and timeline can matter more than a long description of frustration.

Choose the category that owns the problem: account access, profile verification, event administration, technical performance or result review. Mixing several unrelated requests into one case makes it difficult to decide which evidence should be examined first.

01CASE OPENING

State what stopped and where it stopped

Begin with a plain sentence: the player cannot receive an OTP, the roster shows the wrong identity, the app closes at launch or a published score does not match the recorded result. Add the event reference or affected account ID and the approximate time.

Mention the checks already completed. This prevents support from repeating basic steps and shows whether the problem is reproducible. Do not include passwords, OTPs or full financial credentials in the message.

  • One clear issue statement
  • Relevant account or event reference
  • Time, device and app version
  • Original permitted evidence
02EVIDENCE FIT

A screenshot should prove a detail, not merely show that a screen exists

For login, capture the error without exposing the OTP. For a roster issue, show the event and player identifier. For a match review, preserve the match ID, round and permitted recording. Keep original files so timestamps and dimensions remain available.

If a video is long, identify the relevant time rather than forcing a reviewer to search the entire file. Avoid decorative annotations that cover player names, scores or event references.

03CONTINUITY

Use the existing case number when new evidence appears

Reply with what changed since the last message and attach only the new material. Duplicate cases can divide evidence between reviewers. If the issue affects an approaching deadline, state the deadline and the event rule without assuming support can override it.

Keep the final resolution and any instruction that applies to future events. Teams can turn a resolved case into a better internal checklist without publishing private support correspondence.

QUICK CLARITY

Questions worth settling early

Include one issue, the relevant reference, time, device or event context and evidence suited to that issue.

Usually no. Use one case owner and add evidence to the existing reference unless support requests otherwise.

Do not assume so. Explain the incident and deadline, while event treatment remains subject to the rules and organiser review.
