Performance tuning should begin from the official app and a known device state. Change one group of settings at a time, then test under realistic conditions. Restart the device, close nonessential apps and record the current game settings. Run a practice session long enough to observe heat and frame behaviour. Note when problems begin rather than relying on a single peak frame number.
Keep free storage for updates, temporary data and permitted recordings. A nearly full device can slow installation and leave no room for evidence when an event requires it.
